The Chamber Singers is a select small ensemble. Consisting of around 30 voices, this group focuses on advanced, primarily unaccompanied repertoire specifically suited for chamber choir. The Chamber Singers were invited, by audition, to perform at the 2009 California Music Educators Association (CMEA) Convention. They also frequently appear in concert with the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra.
In 2008, the ensemble embarked on a performance tour to Italy, where they performed in such venues as Rome's Santa Maria Maggiore and the Duomo of Santa Maria al Mare on the Amalfi Coast. They traveled to Spain in June 2010, where they premiered Manuel Garcia's (1775-1832) Mass in D Major and Salve Regina, giving concerts in the composer's hometown of Seville.
Chamber Singers rehearses Tuesday and Thursday, from 2:00-3:50 PM, and is under the direction of Matthew Brady.
