Bio

I am a speech language pathologist by training and am specialized in the treatment of voice and upper airway disorders. I have developed a specific interest in researching and providing clinical care for the neurological voice population and am particularly interested in the patient-perceived impacts of voice disorders. I have taught graduate and undergraduate level courses in Voice and Voice Disorders at NYU, CSU San Marcos, and now here at CSUSB.

I have been an invited lecturer and presenter on neurological voice and patient-centered care at conferences, patient support groups, and hospitals around the country and one of my joys is to continue to spread knowledge and awareness in areas of the voice and speech pathology field.

I believe in applicable teaching methods with ties to the real clinical world an in preparing future speech pathologists, to function at their highest level of competence and clinical care.
